Operated by Philadelphia Trolley Works, the Fairmount Park Loop/Red Route is an optional, 40 minute extension of the Big Bus Hop On Hop Off City Tour (Blue Route). Live guided tours are offered 7 days per week from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend with departures every hour from Big Bus Stop 15 (Philadelphia Museum of Art East Entrance/”Rocky Steps”-Eakins Oval at Spring Garden Street). Climb aboard our Victorian Style Trolley and enjoy the history, cultural attractions, and beautiful scenery along the route which runs through Fairmount Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country. Visit America’s first zoo, take the kids to the interactive Please Touch Museum, or relax at the 17th century-style Shofuso Japanese House and Garden. Hop on and off at either stop along the route or just sit back and enjoy the ride!
Big Bus staff will validate your ticket. Transfer to the Fairmount Park Loop/Red Route at Big Bus Stop 15 (Philadelphia Museum of Art East Entrance/”Rocky Steps”-Eakins Oval at Spring Garden Street).
Choose from the 1 Day Red Route Pass, or the Blue Route/Red Route Combo ticket (1- or 2-Day) to see everything Philadelphia has to offer! Red Route upgrades are available for Blue Route ticket holders and all pass card holders.
